OOCL announces cancellation of Asia-Europe roundtrip

Orient Overseas Container Lines (OOCL), now a subsidiary of COSCO, has released its round-trip list of cancellations in Asia-Europe trade on December 20.

 

The carrier had earlier stated that the cancellation of the order was "in response to expected low demand in the market".

 

The cancelled voyage is as follows:

 

On the route 6 of the Asia-Nordic route, westbound: February 2 of week 5 is ETA Kaohsiung, and eastbound: week 11 of March 14 is ETA Felixstowe.

 

 

Ring Road 7, westbound: ETA arriving in Ningbo on February 2nd in May, and eastbound on March 6th in week 10: ETA in Antwerp, westbound: February 9th, arriving in ETA Ningbo, 11th March 13th of the week, eastward, Ningbo; westbound: expected to reach ETA Ningbo on August 23rd, eastbound: expected to arrive at ETA Antwerp on March 27th, 13 weeks.

 

On the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea (EMI) routes, westbound: ETA Busan on February 23rd, and eastbound: ETA Istanbul on 13th March 27th.
