In November 2014, Huangshi City Government and Shenzhen Yantian Port Co., Ltd. signed a contract to develop Huangshi New Port. In the past 5 years, Huangshi New Port has realized port switching and multimodal transport. The Xingang Park has gathered a large number of port-based industrial projects such as Xingang Heavy Industry and Baowu Coating, which has become a new engine to drive Huangshi's economic transformation and development.

With the completion of the second phase of the project, the capacity of Huangshi New Port will reach 40 million tons, and its comprehensive competitiveness will be further enhanced. The newly started phase III project newly built 8 10,000-ton berths with a planned investment of 1.848 billion yuan. After completion, the new port's capacity will reach 62 million tons, which will become the top three important ports in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.

Not long ago, Huangshi Xingang Park hosted Yangxin's "one district and three villages", which provided vast land space for the development of the port industry. After the completion of the green intelligent manufacturing industry park project of Xinxing Pipe Industry Co., Ltd., which is launched this time, it will form a scale of 1 million tons of cast pipes and related products.

According to the cooperation agreement signed between Shenzhen Yantian Port Headquarters and Huangshi City, Yantian Port injected all the assets of its holding and shareholding companies along the Yangtze River into the Yangtze River Headquarters located in Huangshi, and jointly promoted the introduction of strategic investors, equity mergers and acquisitions, etc. to create 10 billion Level enterprises to promote the integrated development of "port, industry and city" in Huangshi City.
