Asia's first professional cargo airport

Dapeng spread its wings, chasing the blue sky. The "fourth in the world and the first in Asia" professional cargo hub airport, Ezhou Huahu Airport, was officially put into operation on July 17 and carried out the maiden flight of cargo and passenger planes.
 

On the same day, in the hall of the brand-new Ezhou Huahu Airport Terminal Building, the Central and Southern Regional Administration of Civil Aviation issued an airport use license to Hubei International Logistics Airport Co., Ltd.
 

At 11:35 in the morning, a SF Airlines Boeing 767-300 all-cargo plane carrying a batch of express items flew from Ezhou Huahu Airport to Shenzhen Bao'an Airport, marking the official operation of Ezhou Huahu Airport.
 

Ezhou Huahu Airport is located in Yanji Town, Lingonggang Economic Zone, Ezhou City, Hubei Province, 76 kilometers away from the center of Wuhan, close to the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, surrounded by 7 deep-water ports, 4 expressways, 2 expressways, and 6 high-speed railways. 
 

From here, the 1.5-hour flight circle can cover 90% of the country's total economic output. Passengers' consignments can reach the whole country overnight and the world the next day.
 

The airport is positioned as a cargo hub, passenger feeder, public platform, and cargo air base. The recent planning target is 2.45 million tons of cargo and mail throughput in 2025. It will become an international air cargo hub focusing on Air cargo, a multimodal transport center focusing on international air cargo, an important node in global aviation logistics, and an important gateway for China's air express to connect the world.
 

After the airport is officially opened, this year will gradually open passenger routes from Ezhou to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Qingdao, Ningbo and other places, and cargo routes from Ezhou to Shenzhen, Shanghai, Frankfurt, Osaka and other places.
