Customs clearance regulations of Egypt

1. For goods exported to Egypt, the commodity inspection bureau implements inspection and loading before shipment.

2. Regardless of whether statutory inspection is required, customers are required to provide vouchers for renewal of certificates or receipts, formal inspection inspection powers of attorney, packing list, invoices, and contracts.

3. Obtain a certificate (slip) for the certificate replacement and go to the Commodity Inspection Bureau to handle the customs clearance form (for statutory commodity inspection, you can get the customs clearance form in advance), and then make an appointment with the commodity inspection staff of the Commodity Inspection Bureau to the warehouse for supervision and installation.

4. After the staff of the Commodity Inspection Bureau arrive at the warehouse, they will take pictures of the empty boxes, then check the number of boxes for each ticket, check one ticket for each box, and take a picture for one ticket. Until they are all installed, go to the commodity inspection bureau to change the customs clearance form, and then you can arrange customs declaration.

5. It takes about 5 working days after customs clearance to go to the Commodity Inspection Bureau to obtain the pre-shipment inspection and verification at the destination port. Foreign customers can use this certificate to go through customs clearance at the port of destination.

6. For all goods exported to Egypt, the corresponding documents (certificate of origin and invoices) must be certified by the Egyptian Embassy in China. The stamped documents and pre-transit inspection and verification can be carried out at the destination port of Egypt. After customs declaration or export data is determined.

7. The Egyptian Embassy certification will take about 3-7 working days, and the pre-shipment inspection and verification will take about 5 working days. For other customs and commodity inspections, please consult the local official.
