Montevideo Port, the commercial port of Uruguay in the east coast of South America. Located in Montevideo Bay, south of the country, near the northern shore of the La Plata Estuary. It is 125 nautical miles to the port of Buenos Aires in the west, 1040 nautical miles to the port of Rio de Janeiro in the northeast, and 3625 nautical miles to the port of Cape Town in the east.
