SAL ambitious logistics services for Saudi Arabia airport

London Air Cargo News reports that Saudi Arabian Airlines has established Saudi Arabian Logistics Company (SAL), a new division that will provide logistics and ground handling services at Saudi airports.

 

SAL CEO Omar Talal said: "SAL will improve the quality of logistics operations and support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision to transform it into a global logistics hub."

"SAL will directly contribute to the enhancement and development of logistics infrastructure, including all types of freight platforms, warehouses and equipment, as well as e-commerce freight and transportation facilities," said Saudi Arabian Airline Director General Sami Sind.

 

"SAL will create more economic and development opportunities by establishing strategic partnerships with different local and global logistics service providers," Mr. Sind said.
